Links At Galloway Golf Course

Played 9 and rather enjoyed it. Fast rough with a 4:40 tee time, even waiting on a couple of holes. Card only facility. Nice staff, no driving range, small chip and putt green. Well maintained facility and will plan to play a full round.

I’m a college kid that just wanted to play a good round of golf with my friends. We asked if we could play 5 people politely. Then we were told no but you can play 2 and 3 and we politely agreed no problem! Then we go and see the starter for him to aggressively yell at us about how we can’t play five. We immediately say we know they told us so we’re going 3 and 2. We are then met by a bunch of threats even threatening to put hands on us if we play 5. All of this as we politely agreed we weren’t and our other 2 have even already started. Finally another starter comes out as we’re teeing off to send a couple last threats at us. Will not return here if you are under the age of 50 even when you are polite they will assume you’re a villain. Not to mention the actual course. Several huge divers and holes even on the green. I have never played a course with worst kept greens. Highly recommend against. Only way I would ever return was if they replaced the starters I was met by and redid greens. Definitely not worth 50 dollars for 18 and a very ageist staff. Costumer service is abysmal!!!

I was really disappointed with my experience. I arrived at the pro shop about four minutes after my 5:40 p.m. tee time on a Wednesday. I was playing as a single and riding in a cart. When I walked up to pay, I apologized for being a few minutes late and was fully prepared to head straight to the first tee and hit immediately so I wouldn't hold anyone up. The gentleman at the counter told me he couldn't let me out because the group with the 5:50 tee time was already on the first hole about to hit. If that had actually been the case, I would have completely understood—I worked at a golf course for part of my life and know how important it is to keep play moving. However, that explanation turned out to be false. The golfers with the 5:50 tee time were actually standing behind me in line waiting to pay and had not even gone to the first tee yet. The group already on the tee box was the 5:30 tee time, and it was clear the course was simply backed up. What disappointed me most was not being unable to play, but that I was given an explanation that wasn't true. It felt like the decision was made to ensure all carts were returned earlier rather than based on the actual pace of play. Add

Everyone from the staff to the players around us to the course was great. It was packed as 75 degree beautiful spring afternoon should but the pace of play was still solid pace given the amount of people. Super welcoming and great for all levels of golfers. Its now my local spot

Just played 18 with the boys. Absolutely outstanding course. Starters were friendly, Pro Shop was friendly. Food is cheap but delicious, and the course is in fantastic shape. Only for 55 bucks too? I mean you can’t beat that at all. Very very happy and definitely will be coming back hopefully sooner than later.
